Earthquake In Haiti
Today we got the sad news of a terrible earthquake in Haiti! We also received the welcome news that our little girl over there in the orphanage in Mirebalais is O.K. A mason was supposed to come and check the building for structural damage before allowing the children to enter the house. Our hearts go out to all the people of Haiti as, no doubt, there will be much suffering and devastation.
Hello:
If you learn more about conditions in Mirebalais could you contact me? My mother is there with a group from the Ventures in People organization (www.viphaiti.org) and we are trying to find out their condition. Thank you for your help. Your encouraging blog post is one of the few things I’ve been able to find out about Mirabalais specifically.
Thank You

My sister is also in Mirebalais with Ventures in People. I hope to learn about the conditions there and if that group is ok as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Hello again,
We just received skype messages from our children in Mirebalais. It looks good in Mirebalais. All are fine in the orphanage. People from Port-au-Prince are bringing wounded people to the orphanage. Praise God!
